1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the TekenJezelfRecords website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

2. Services

TekenJezelfRecords provides digital music distribution services, enabling artists and labels to distribute their music to digital streaming platforms worldwide. We act as an intermediary between content creators and digital streaming platforms.

3. Account Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
• You must be at least 18 years of age or have parental consent to use our services.

4. Content Ownership & Rights

You retain all ownership rights to the music, artwork, and metadata you upload. By using our distribution service, you grant TekenJezelfRecords a non-exclusive, worldwide license to reproduce, distribute, and make available your content on digital streaming platforms.

You represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to distribute the content you upload, including any samples, cover versions, or third-party content.

5. Prohibited Content

You may not upload or distribute content that:

• Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
• Contains uncleared samples or unauthorized cover recordings
• Is fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive
• Promotes hate speech, violence, or discrimination
• Violates any applicable law or regulation

6. Royalties & Payments

• Royalties are calculated based on streaming data received from digital platforms.
• Payments are processed according to the schedule published in your dashboard.
• You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your earnings.
• TekenJezelfRecords retains the right to withhold payments if there is a dispute or suspected fraud.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. Upon termination, we will initiate takedown of your content from streaming platforms. Takedown processing times vary by platform and may take up to 30 days. Outstanding royalties will be paid according to the regular payment schedule.

8. Limitation of Liability

TekenJezelfRecords is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount of royalties paid to you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Netherlands.
